A young person will sneak from their home to attend a party, but when one ages you will sneak out of the party early to go home. Old age is a great time to sit back and enjoy your life.

”Do pace yourself as you age. It’s okay to walk a bit slower, take more time to go through the supermarket checkout line, and even drive in the slow lane. If other drivers honk at you, figure they are in a hurry and you are not.”

Old is gold!. The book outline how one can be optimistic in this stage of life and how one can age gracefully and successfully. It gives care giver tips on how to treat the care given.

When you see a young man walking; what comes to your mind? Some see agility, others see envy. How swift the vitality they imbued?
This is the story my grandfather always told me, and never knew where it was leading to. “Little boy time will come and you will age, you will see what it means”. It never clicked in my mind the meaning and what he was driving at.
I used to see him walking slowly and when he stands would stretch sluggishly. Old age comes with it`s challenges. There is a saying that “the one who use to dance will sit and watch others makes moves”. One is left to remember the good old days when one would run, full of energy carry the affairs without any hitches. Old age comes with a package of forgetfulness and frailty. A young person will sneak from their home to attend a party, but when one ages you will sneak out of the party early to go home.
Old age is a great time to sit back and enjoy your life. You become much wiser and people’s opinions doesn`t frustrate or disappoint you because you understand it`s a contribute to a healthy life. Research has it that happy seniors have less trouble getting out of bed, dressing or showering, as opposed to an unhappy senior. The seniors then are much likely to develop diabetes, heart diseases, cancer and strokes. Aging well means having a savvy strategy to face the challenges that may be coming your way.
